Martin’s Foods store in Martinsburg, WV is FOR THE KIDS!

Martin’s Foods store in Martinsburg, WV took part in an East Coast-wide event involving eight stores through PA, MD and VA in support of the Children’s Miracle Network Balloon Campaign. We are so excited that WVU Medicine Children’s was one of the hospitals involved. Truly every amount of money donated makes a HUGE difference.

Before the check presentation today, Ashley Flower, manager of External Communications and Community Relations with Martin’s Foods, made a statement saying, “it’s our hope that this event will encourage our associates to finish strong in the final week of our fundraising campaign…and inspire customers to donate what they can to help kids in their communities live and stay well.” Well Ashley,  I think you are right!

Martin’s not only raised $500 through this campaign for WVU Medicine Children’s in WV, but have raised money for several CMN hospitals in the surrounding areas and is deemed one of the top 15 fundraisers in the country for CMN. Way to go Martin’s Foods!

If you’re local to the Martinsburg area or just passing through, be sure to check out Martin’s Foods on 901 Foxcroft Avenue and donate a dollar or two in support of WVU Medicine Children’s through July 6!

We are thankful for Martin’s and all the hard work the company and associates put in For The Kids. Click here to read an article published by The Journal for more details on the check presentation.
