Oh How “Sweet” the WVU Medicine Children’s 2019 Walmart/Sam’s Club Kickoff was!

On Thursday, May 30, 2019, WVU Medicine Children’s Program Director and Assistant Director showed their Walmart and Sam’s Club locations just how “sweet” it is to fundraise for WVU Medicine Children’s with a Candy Land Themed Campaign Kickoff.

Over 100 people packed into the Marriott’s Event Center in Morgantown, WV to enjoy a candy buffet, catered lunch, games and amazing presentation with best practices, toolkit must-haves and cause connection stories by Program Director, Ashley Horbachewski, to prepare for the Walmart/Sam’s Club Campaign starting June 10, 2019.

Walmart and Sam’s Club management and associate team members had the chance to play some fun games, win prizes and hear miracle stories from a few of WVU Medicine Children’s sweetest miracle families, including our 2019 Champion Child, Ziler Hawkins. It’s all about cause connection with our WVU Medicine Children’s Walmart and Sam’s Club markets locations.
